RICKIPEDIA

Rick Perlstein is a political historian at a crossroads in his scholarship. He is free of the longform approach to his tetralogy on the American conservative movement and recently wrapped a pithier treatise on how the United States slid headfirst toward fascism. With Rickipedia, Perlstein’s substack, he has free reign to explore subjects as he pleases, can flit from one to another without concern for continuity. Rickipedia runs the whole gamut—from politics to fishing to Blazing Saddles to Herbie Hancock. Friedman.Studio designed a logo with chonky, statuesque typography and accompanying rubber-hose illustrations of Rick to editorialize blog entries.
